Camille Beraldo

Student Therapist - MACP (IN PROGRESS) Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Hi, I’m Camille! I grew up feeling like I wasn’t able to “tune” into a radio station that everyone else could hear clearly. A later ADHD diagnosis gave words to years of confusion and opened the pathway from self-blame to curiosity and self-understanding. I’ve learned to work with my brain instead of against it, and my goal is to help you do the same. I strive to offer a space to build gentle structure that fits your life, attend to both personal and relational needs, and build off the inherent strengths you already carry within. Our fast-paced world often suggests the idea that we should handle everything alone, but we were never designed to. I’m fueled by genuine connection, and my hope is to create a space where safety, trust and understanding meet you at every step in your journey.

Working with Camille Beraldo

Working with me means having a space where you can take off the mask and show up exactly as you are.  I see vulnerability as one of the greatest measures of courage, and I will meet yours with curiosity and compassion. My hope is that you leave each session feeling seen, understood, and inspired to move forward.

Worth mentioning

As clients decide who they want to work with for counselling, there’s lots to take into consideration! Here are some additional perks you should know of!

It takes immense courage to show up in the world as you truly are. I deeply value self-expression and authenticity, and believe affirmation of our truest form is the heart of growth and connection. Feel free to be unapologetically yourself and expect that to be celebrated.

Being trauma-informed is understanding how past experiences of harm can impact how you see yourself, others, and the world around you. It’s recognizing the importance of emotional safety and trust for deeper therapeutic work.

Therapy is teamwork. I work with you as an equal pattern, listening to your goals and letting you stay in the driver’s seat while we work together to create goals transparently.

What does a session with me look like?

I’ll sit with you in discomfort when it shows up, and together we can gently untangle what feels heavy and find new ways forward. I like to think of each session as layering another stone on steadier ground, helping you build strength, clarity, and choice. As you have probably noticed by now, I love using analogies, so you can expect our work to include imaginative ways of seeing your experiences from new perspectives.

My Approach

I believe healing begins when we feel truly seen, and to be seen, we first need to feel safe to do so. I’m here to create a space of safety and trust, affirming who you are while gently helping uncover the strengths that stress or self‑protection may have hidden. My approach is guided by you, whether you prefer more structure or open self-reflection, I will meet you where you are. As they say, when a flower doesn’t bloom you don’t fix the flower you nurture the environment around it.

Eclectic Approach

I like to think of therapy as having a whole toolbox we can draw from. Just as you are unique, the way we work together will be too! If one thing doesn’t quite fit, there are plenty of other tools we can draw from. An eclectic approach draws from multiple modalities, and I particularly gravitate towards person-centered, narrative, CBT, and mindfulness. There’s not one-size-fits-all here, but rather about finding what feels genuine and helpful for you!

Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy

Cognitive-behavioral therapy is about understanding the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and actions. It helps to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, test and reframe those thoughts, and practice new behaviours that lead to healthier outcomes.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative therapy is based on the idea that the stories we carry shape how we see ourselves and our lives. Often those stories are influenced by problems, expectations, or outside voices that don’t truly belong to us. The goal isn’t to take stories away, but to build new ones that align with who you are and the life you wish to live

Somatic Regulation & Mindfulness

Present-moment awareness brings compassionate, curious attention to thoughts and feelings while tracking bodily signals. Gentle movement, breathwork, and grounding calm the nervous system so emotions become clearer, more tolerable, and readily available to work with.
