Ezra Fantetti
Student Therapist - MACP (IN PROGRESS) Registered Psychotherapist Qualifing
Hello! My name is Ezra (she/they), and I am a student therapist at Rebound Total Health. The subject of mental health has interested me from a young age, fostered both by my personal and academic pursuits, and I am passionate not only about understanding the impact of mental wellness but also the innate resilience present in each individual person. I think that although everyone needs something different, therapeutic healing begins with compassion and understanding, and that it is through achieving understanding of the self that meaningful life change can be made.
My goal when working with clients is to provide a safe and empathetic environment to facilitate honesty, accountability, and dynamic conversation.

Working with Ezra Fantetti
I think psychotherapy is best offered in a collaborative and holistic fashion. My goal when working with clients is to provide a safe and empathetic environment to facilitate honesty, accountability, and dynamic conversation; ultimately, I want my clients to feel seen, heard, and respected by the end of each session.
Worth mentioning
As clients decide who they want to work with for counselling, there’s lots to take into consideration! Here are some additional perks you should know of!
I am most interested in how you’re actually feeling, not how I think you’re feeling. I’m especially good at putting feelings to words, even if those feelings aren’t always the most comfy.
I believe it’s essential to look at the whole picture. I want to hear about your life, your experiences, your feelings, your thoughts, your preferences, your family, etc, to best achieve an understanding of who you are as a person.
I believe that there is nothing stronger than personal choice and autonomy. Therapy with me is not on a track, so to speak, but will be highly tailored to what you yourself are seeking to receive from the endeavor.
What does a session with me look like?
Sessions with me are driven primarily by two forces—the first of which being what you want to talk about, and the second of which being the questions brought-up topics elicit for me. Regardless of why you feel or think the way you do, my goal is not just to personally understand your life, thoughts, emotions, and experiences, but to help you understand those same things and thus better preparing you to make informed, autonomous, goal-oriented decisions as you go forward in life.
Q&A just for fun
Q: Dogs or Cats?
A: My current duo of critters is a dog who thinks she’s a cat and a cat who thinks he’s a dog— So I would have to say both!
Q: Guilty Pleasure?
A: I’d have to say… Listening to One Direction
Q: Favourite Season?
A: Spring— the returning warmth feels best in contrast to the cold of Canadian winters.
Q: Favourite Saying?
A: Nothing is set in stone, but a dirt road. If you roll your wagon in the same path too much, it’ll eventually be the only path you can take without struggling
Q: Biggest Pet Peeve
A: Playing Tiktoks out loud on public transit!
Q: Ideal Vacation?
A: Somewhere tropical, where I can routinely retreat to an air-conditioned building once the sun gets to be a little too much
Q: Hobbies?
A: When I’m not in the office, I’m probably playing guitar, baking, or teaching my dog new tricks!
My Approach
I think that first and foremost, what I aim to do is give you a space where you can comfortably share, discuss, analyze, and assess whatever thoughts, feelings, ideas, or problems that you feel are important to achieving your personal goals pertaining to your unique therapeutic journey.
Compassion-Focused Therapy
This modality focuses on warmth, empathy and unconditional positive regard for the client. I use active listening, reflection and compassion to explore the client’s experiences.
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy
This modality focuses on the internal resources and existing strengths that each client already has within themselves, which can be used to improve their resilience and create meaningful change.
Client-Centred Therapy
This approach is based on mindfulness techniques and can help clients to accept difficult emotions while committing to positive change
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Using an integrative and holistic approach allows me to draw from various theoretical frameworks such as internal family systems, narrative therapy and somatic work to create a personalized approach for each individual client.
