Working with me
My goal when working with clients is to make them feel safe and understood by listening to their words and using a person centered approach. I want clients to feel like they can trust me and will build a therapeutic relationship with my clients by showing them unconditional positive regard. At the end of a session I want a client to feel heard but also inspired.Â
Worth mentioning
As clients decide who they want to work with for counselling, there’s lots to take into consideration! Here are some additional perks you should know of!
My lived experiences and everything I’ve been through, the good and the bad have made me the person I am today. That is a understanding, non-judgmental, approachable and relatable person.
I am motivated by a genuine concern for the happiness and well-being of others, and I would love to travel alongside you as we navigate this journey together.
I come to sessions embracing exactly who I am, and I believe my clients pick up on that right away and it helps us establish a tight knit therapeutic relationship. My authentic bubbly personality will help people struggling with a diverse range of presenting problems feel accepted and understood.
What does a session with me look like?
The atmosphere of my sessions is to provide a comfortable place by recognizing the individual unique needs of my clients day to day. In my sessions with clients I join them on their journey as they dig deep to identify feelings and problems they are facing. I affirm their beliefs and needs and assist them as they participate in therapeutic interventions that will help them flourish in their lives.
