Katie Meagher
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
MACP (IN PROGRESS)
Hi! I’m Katie! I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) here at Rebound Total Health. Being able to help others navigate their way through difficult moments in their lives has been something that has come naturally to me my entire life. Creating a career around that has been a lifelong dream, and over the last couple of years, I’ve been making that a reality. Through my own lived experiences, I’ve learned that living authentically, and loving yourself are the foundational pieces to living a happy and
satisfying life. Continuing to build on my passion for the human psyche and exploring the ‘why’ behind our thought and behavioural processes continues to fuel my passion for helping others find theirs. Life’s challenges can often catch us off guard, but having a reliable support system can turn even the toughest moments into opportunities for growth.
My mission is to empower individuals to navigate life’s challenges with grace and resilience, fostering personal growth and well-being.

Worth mentioning
As clients decide who they want to work with for counselling, there’s lots to take into consideration! Here are some additional perks you should know of!
I prioritize genuineness in our interactions, encouraging an honest and open dialogue that allows for a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
I believe that therapy is not just about managing symptoms but also about empowering clients to live more fulfilling lives. My approach
emphasizes personal growth, self-awareness, and the development of resilience, helping clients unlock their full potential and make lasting positive changes.
What does a session with me look like?
I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, which also applies to the way I hold space for others. Tailoring my approach to the unique needs of what YOU require is an equation I find benefits everyone in the room. Starting with a check-in, we can collaborate on creating a plan of action that will be sure to provide you with progress in whatever challenge you may be facing. You can rest assured that our time together will have you feeling free to express yourself without fear of criticism. Through genuine connection and at the pace you feel most comfortable with, we can explore your inner self without reservation.

My therapeutic approach is a thoughtful blend of diverse modalities, tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. By integrating client-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and relational techniques, I strive to create a well-rounded and personalized treatment plan that effectively addresses your specific concerns and goals. This multi-faceted approach acknowledges the uniqueness of each individual and ensures that you receive a therapy experience that is attuned to your particular circumstances and preferences. Through empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based strategies, I aim to facilitate your journey toward greater self-awareness, personal growth, and overall well-being.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
By encouraging clients to accept and embrace negative thoughts and feelings rather than avoid them, we can promote psychological flexibility and learn to commit to behaviour changes that align with their personal values.
