Lauren Adam
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
MACP (IN PROGRESS)
Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at Rebound Total Health. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for helping others. Yet, I often neglected my own needs, never quite knowing how to take care of myself. Growing up as a competitive athlete, I understand the pressures of high achievement all too well. I faced burnout and anxiety, but I eventually took it upon myself to learn the tools needed to live a fulfilling life despite these challenges. With this lived experience, I love supporting athletes, professional athletes, and high performers in general.
I’ve spent the past several years immersing myself in the field of mental health, forming meaningful connections along the way. I am passionate about working alongside folks struggling with grief, addiction, and borderline personality disorder (BPD). Becoming a therapist felt like a natural calling, and I’m truly living out my dream career!
I am driven by a passion for empowering others to overcome challenges, build resilience, and discover their inner strengths. I am honoured to be part of the transformative process that therapy offers, and I look forward to accompanying you on your path to self-discovery and healing!

Working with me
Just like you, I am a human who has faced their share of challenges. I understand how important it is to feel seen, heard, and valued. I aim to foster a space where self-discovery meets laughter, and growth is anything but boring! By the end of each session, my goal is for you to feel safe and hopeful.
Worth mentioning
As clients decide who they want to work with for counselling, there’s lots to take into consideration! Here are some additional perks you should know of!
As your therapist, I aim to be genuine and transparent, bringing a light-hearted vibe to our sessions. You can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely—no fear of rejection here! I promise to show up as my true self, quirks and all, because authenticity is key. Let’s keep it real and have some fun along the way!
My goal is to create an uplifting environment where we can tackle tough topics while also celebrating your progress, no matter how small. Together, we’ll focus on solutions and possibilities, helping you master the art of self-compassion because every step you take should be celebrated.
I understand life can be busy and unpredictable! That’s why I offer flexible scheduling options, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, making therapy accessible for you. (Sunday sessions can be a great way to feel calm and prepared to tackle the new week ahead 😀)
What does a session with me look like?
There are no one-size-fits-all approaches here! Clients can generally expect a warm welcome and a check-in during each session, with plenty of laughter along the way. I prioritize transparency in the therapeutic process and encourage open communication, ensuring that your voice guides our sessions. Whether you want to problem-solve, set practical goals, vent, or even cry, I’m here for it all and will go above and beyond to make you feel truly heard.
