My Approach

The approach I adopt in therapy is characterized by an integrative and client-centered framework that draws upon various modalities to meet the unique needs of each individual. With a strong emphasis on holistic well-being, my approach incorporates elements of mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and mixed modalities. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. By fostering self-awareness, self-compassion, and personal growth, I aim to empower clients to develop healthier coping strategies, gain insight, and achieve their therapeutic goals. Through collaboration and a tailored approach, I strive to support clients in their journey towards holistic healing and transformative change.

Mixed Modalities

This approach combines various therapeutic techniques and interventions from different orientations such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), strengths-based perspectives, Dance Movement Therapy (DMT), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to create a customized treatment plan that best suits the individual's unique needs and preferences.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. It empowers clients to develop healthier coping skills and achieve lasting positive change.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness-based therapy emphasizes present-moment awareness and non-judgmental acceptance of thoughts and emotions. Through mindfulness practices, clients learn to cultivate self-awareness and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves and their experiences.

Client-Centered

This humanistic approach centers around the client's inherent capacity for growth and self-healing. The therapist provides a supportive, empathetic, and non-directive environment, allowing clients to explore their feelings and thoughts openly, ultimately leading to self-discovery and personal growth.
