Hello, my name is Kaitlyn! I am currently in my second year at McMaster University studying the psychology of human behaviour. I have taken a special interest in the mental health field and am minoring in mental illness, addiction and society! My future career goals include becoming a registered psychotherapist! I have always had a passion for helping others and I am looking forward to being a part of Rebound Total Health, and working with you as your client coordinator!

Meeting with me!

When meeting with me I like to create a safe space for my clients to be able to discuss what

is on their minds and work collaboratively towards setting common goals. By the end of the

consultation, I want you to feel confident in yourself in starting your mental health journey!

What happens in a consultation?!

  1. Discuss your goals. We’ll start by determining what you’d like to work on in therapy and what’s brought you here! We just need a general idea of the topics for exploration and areas you’d like to focus on in therapy.

  2. Get to know you. We’ll chat a bit about your day-to-day life, what you do and who you are. Finding the right therapist includes finding the right personality fit, so don’t be scared to let your personality shine!

  3. Preferences. Whether you’ve been to therapy before or this is your first time, if you have any preferences about what type of therapist you want or what you might be specifically looking for, we’ll take note. No idea what you want or need? Don’t worry! No preferences required :)

  4. Practical Stuff. We’ll spend some time discussing the practical aspects of therapy such as your availability, booking information and of course financial aspects of therapy such as prices, payments & benefits coverage.

  5. Questions. Last but certainly not least, the consultation offers an opportunity for you to ask us any questions you may have about virtual/telephone therapy at Rebound, the process of getting started or anything you’re uncertain of!
