Diana Da Conceicao
Clinical Supervisor, Registered Psychotherapist
Hi, I’m Diana and I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. I have been in mental health for approximately 15 years working with children, youth, adults, and families both in agency settings and now in Private Practice. As a result of my immigration story and family complexities, I quickly found value in supporting people in building solid relationships and opening up conversations to help each other understand different perspectives and blind spots in how we experience ourselves and others. After being given the opportunity to provide supervision to students I quickly learned I had a passion for supporting therapists on their professional journey and discovered a new avenue to this helping profession.
Providing clinical supervision with the hope of cultivating strong, confident, and highly qualified psychotherapists. Reach out for a free consultation. I would LOVE to support you on your supervision journey!

Working with me
I hold closely the belief that we are all doing the best we can within our circumstances and that we hold untapped strengths to support the growth we seek. I work from a strengths, and systems-based, collaborative approach. After working with me you will leave feeling confident and hopefully inspired by your own strengths and wisdom and that you feel more and more prepared and confident to do wonderful work with your clients!
Worth mentioning
As clients decide who they want to work with for counselling, there’s lots to take into consideration! Here are some additional perks you should know of!
I provide a space filled with compassion that allows you to be your authentic self. My non-judgmental, open-minded, and personable approach creates a comfortable space where you can feel relaxed to express whatever’s on your mind. The more trust we develop, the more success we see in supervision and then, therapy!
Supervision is not a one-size fits all approach. Some methods work well, while others may not be what you’re looking for. Supervision is for you; therefore, I use a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions to support you on your journey. Something not working or doesn’t feel right? Let me know! We’ll find what works for you.
I offer evening and weekend sessions to ensure your supervision does not conflict with your already busy schedule. I also offer different modalities to suit your learning style & financial needs. Unsure about booking online? No worries, just send me an email and we can find something that works best with your schedule.
What does a session with me look like?
Your supervision with me should feel light, safe, productive, and informative! I hope that you feel safe to share your strengths in your work, as well to feel vulnerable enough to share your “stuck points” and areas that you would like to grow in.

My approach
With my supervisees, I use an approach similar to how I would approach a client- collaborative, client-centered, and strengths-based! I’ll help you lead your sessions and client work in a way that feels right to you while considering the system around your clients and taking different angles that perhaps you hadn’t considered and helping you broaden your scope of practice for you to recognize new strengths in yourself and your work. Self-care is also always an important part of our supervision, as we all know that if we are not grounded in ourselves and doing well, it is harder to support our clients.
Client-Centered
Using the client’s goals and values at the core, we’ll use that to guide the direction we take and our workflow.
Mindfulness
I like to use mindfulness to support clients in being most present and connected to themselves and what they need as well as to trust their thoughts and emotions.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
I also work from a cognitive behavioural orientation to support clients in understanding their behaviours, thoughts and emotions with compassion and empowering them with the hope for better!
