Paige Newton
Student Therapist - MACP (IN PROGRESS)
Hello! My Name is Paige Newton, and I am a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) student at Yorkville University, currently completing my practicum placement with Rebound Total Health Counselling and Psychotherapy under clinical supervision. I’m originally from a small community called Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, and moved to Ontario in the summer. Maritimers are talkers, so I love having a good chat! My goal is to create a warm, open, and supportive experience for all my clients to feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a judgement free space.
My goal is to help you find strength and clarity on your journey to well-being and bouncing back!
We can connect virtually!

Working with Paige Newton
I am very easy going, the session leads with a light structure but I welcome new ideas and concepts into the space for discussion. My goal is for clients to leave each session feeling lighter, more grounded, and equipped to handle their week ahead.
Worth mentioning
As clients decide who they want to work with for counselling, there’s lots to take into consideration! Here are some additional perks you should know of!
I am someone who questions ideas and concepts compassionately and deeply.
I recognize that clients may be facing some of their most difficult times, and I want to provide them a space to process and overcome
these challenges.
I have always wanted to work in a field where I can help others, and I want to help others learn to ‘be kind to their minds’.
What does a session with me look like?
Clients can expect a welcoming space that allows them to speak freely and be themselves without judgement. In session, I ask questions relating to the clients goals, thoughts, emotions, and patterns at a pace that is manageable. Together, we collaborate to create a plan that puts you first to help personal growth, clarity, and confidence.

My Approach
I focus my approaches on what an individual may need during difficult times. I want to hear what works, what doesn’t, what you want to see for yourself in the future. I will take these goals and help create a plan that will help set you up for success based around your needs and ideas! Together, we can make a space that’s for you and what you need. I’m a person that likes exploring your potential and what you can implement to be the best version of yourself, and allow room to grow into who you want to be. We never know what other people’s lives look like from the inside, so I go into a session with a clean slate and judgement free.
